After clinching the Rookie Title last year, 16-year-old Molnár Martin is aiming for the overall glory in the British F4 Championship this season. In addition, Martin will also race in the F4 Middle East Championship, which is a completely new championship for him. One of Hungary’s leading telecommunications company, One will be the primary sponsor for Martin’s preparations and his drive toward success in the upcoming season.

Martin exceeded expectations last year, making motorsport history in Hungary by securing the Rookie Championship Title in the British F4. This year, the young talent is raising the stakes, targeting the overall championship title or at least aiming for a spot in the top three in the ROKIT British F4 Championship. For the first time in his career, the 16-year-old athlete will be supported by One Magyarország as his main sponsor, backing his ambitions for success.

“One Magyarország” is committed to supporting young talents who inspire us with their passion and perseverance. Martin Molnár perfectly embodies the values that One represents: innovation, dynamism, and a desire to push boundaries. We are proud to be part of Martin’s success story in the 2025 season, and together we can build the future of Hungarian motorsport,” said Tamás Bányai, CEO of One Magyarország.

In 2025, Martin will compete in two championships—the F4 Middle East Championship and the British F4 Championship—amounting to a busy season with 45 races on the calendar. The Middle East Championship runs from January 17 to February 27, featuring tracks like Abu Dhabi and Jeddah, both of which are part of the Formula 1 calendar. The British F4 season will kick off on April 26 and finish on October 5, taking Martin to legendary venues across the UK that he already got to know last year.

As part of the Hungarian Motorsport Academy (HMA), Martin will continue to race for Virtuosi Racing, the team he partnered with last year. Their excellent collaboration will continue with an even stronger support crew helping Martin reach his goals. While Martin will team up with the Australian-based Evans GP in the F4 Middle East Championship, Virtuosi will provide him with a mechanic and a race engineer, with Team Principal Mark Salmon also traveling with him. Martin has high aspirations for 2025, with Formula 1 still in his sights. To progress up the ladder, he needs to secure as many race wins and podiums as possible this season.

“After 2024, we were in the fortunate position of being able to choose from multiple offers, thanks to Martin’s outstanding performance. From a management perspective, the key priority was to find a partner who would best ensure Martin’s development and demonstrate a deep commitment to our direction. Another important consideration was which team could provide the most thorough preparation program ahead of the British F4 season. Ultimately, we choose Virtuosi Racing, as they offered an excellent program for the F4 Middle East Championship, which will fully prepare us for the British championship, where we’ll now be fighting for podiums and race wins. The success of Virtuosi’s F2 program, combined with the mutual trust built last year, is a strong foundation for this successful partnership,” said Tamás Őry, CEO of MOTAM.

” We are excited to retain Martin for a second year in British F4. After a successful rookie season in which he secured the Rookie Title, we’re looking forward to fighting for the championship this year. We will continue to work closely with Martin, pushing him to achieve his goals and develop further as a driver. To ensure he is fully prepared for the challenges ahead, we have partnered with Evans GP to take Martin to the Middle East Championship. This will provide him with valuable race experience before the start of the season. To maintain continuity and support his growth, we will also be sending our staff to the Middle East, ensuring he has the best possible preparation. Having Martin return as a second-year driver will bring invaluable experience and knowledge to the entire team. We are confident that his presence will positively impact the team’s development, and we are excited for what the season ahead will bring. ” said Mark Salmon, Team Principal at Virtuosi Racing.

“I’m really happy to continue with Virtuosi Racing this year, and I’m excited to be racing again in such a prestigious championship as the British F4. I’m looking forward to benefiting from the fact that I already know the team, the series, the car, and the tracks. We won’t have to go through the team integration phase again this year, so we can start at a higher level and fight for victories from the first race. I’m approaching the year with a lot of optimism. The season kicks off for me in the Middle East Championship this January. Many things will be new to me, like new tracks, a new team, and racing in the extreme heat, but I’m excited about it. These 15 races will be crucial for my preparation,” said Martin Molnár.
