After the spring break, the MOTAM karting drivers competed in Cremona
After a one-month break, Martin Molnár and Tamás Gender Junior competed again in Cremona, Italy, at this year’s fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series.
After the European Championship round in Valencia, Martin Molnár competed again in Cremona, Italy, on a track where he had never competed before. Despite this, Martin showed good pace and started the weekend with two top 10 finishes on Friday: 9th in the first heat and 8th in the second. On Saturday, he kept up his good form and was not disturbed by the changing weather. In the third heat he finished in the 10th position, and in the fourth he was in the top three for a while, then after a small falter he finished in fourth place. In Sunday’s Prefinal he managed to keep up his good run with a big catch-up, but in the Final he didn’t have the pace to fight for a top ten finish for the first time all weekend. Martin finished in the 23rd place out of 93 competitors in the four-round WSK Super Master Series 2023.
Tamás Junior started the weekend in the OKJ category with 81 competitors. After finishing 24th in his group in qualifying, he finished the first two heats on Friday in the 27th and 21st positions, and was looking forward to the next round.

The Hungarian kart driver competed in the OK category for Energy Corse achieved top-ten finishes three times during the heats, finishing seventh once and sixth twice.
However, in the pre-final, he faced technical issues that affected his pace. Similar to the first round of the European Championship held in Valencia earlier this year, he managed to reach the final. Unfortunately, during the final race, he was unable to finish as one of his tires deflated immediately after the start.

MOTAM drivers became members of the Hungarian Motorsport Academy
On 9 May 2023, at a press conference held in the Puskás Stadion, HUMDA announced the continuation of the Hungarian Motorsport Academy, a system of youth education which was established last year. The selection process was led by Norbert Michelisz, the 2019 World Touring Car Champion and Gábor Talmácsi, the 2007 MotoGP World Champion. The program is open to those who have achieved outstanding international results in the past year. We are delighted to announce that MOTAM’s two karting drivers, Martin Molnár and Tamás Gender Junior, the touring car driver Levente Losonczy, and the superenduro rider Norbert Zsigovits, have been included in the program.
Levente Losonczy competed in Misano and Spa in the TCR Italy and TCR Europe
The second round of the TCR Italy series in Misano, Italy, was a tough one for Levente Losonczy, but the Aggressive Team Italia driver still managed to gain points and finished in the 3rd place in the under 25 category.
After the first two rounds of the Italian championship, Levente Losonczy, who drives for Aggressive Team Italia with the support of the Hungarian Motorsport Academy, made his debut in the TCR Europe. The young touring car driver competed in one of the continent’s strongest touring car fields during a break from school. Levente finished 19th in the first race on the Spa-Francorchamps track, which also hosts the F1 Grand Prix, and finished 21st in the second race on Sunday.
Tamás Gender Junior made his debut for Forza Racing in Rodby
Tamas Gender Junior made his debut at the third round of the Champions of the Future series in Rodby in the Forza Racing Team which is the 25 years old Formula 1 pilot, George Russell’s previous team.
Over the past decade, the British-based Forza Racing team has grown into a successful and renowned team, nurturing numerous drivers and achieving significant results in both the OK and OKJ categories. From WSK competitions to European Championship races and other prestigious events, the team has made its mark. They celebrated European Championship titles in 2012 and 2017, and in the latter year, they also secured a World Championship title. Forza Racing competes in various esteemed series and places great emphasis on the development and preparation of karting drivers.
