Tamás Gender Junior competed in Trinec, Czech Republic, in the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series. The Energy Corse driver had to face a lot of difficulties at the Steelring International Circuit, which meant that his race ended one day earlier.
With hopeful expectations, Tamás Gender Junior was looking forward to the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Trinec, Czech Republic, on a track that looks like a roller coaster.
The situation did not improve significantly on the second day of the weekend, and the HUMDA-supported athlete did not qualify for the Super Heat, which meant that he had to watch the entire last day on Saturday from the sidelines.
“I had a difficult weekend in Trinec, which ended earlier than it I planned. Despite working hard with my team, we couldn’t find the right setup for this track, so I didn’t have the pace. Thanks for all the hard work to my coach Antonio Galluccio and the Energy Corse Team, we’ll keep going!” – evaluated Tamás Gender Junior
The efforts of the hungarian driver and his team were not wasted, as in two weeks’ time, the European karting elite will compete again at Steelring in the European Championship race. Tamás Gender Junior will be able to put the experience he has just gained to use in the second round of the European Championship.
