Tamás Gender Jr. will race for Energy Corse Racing Karts in WSK, Champions of the Future and CIK-FIA karting competitions in OK Junior category. The Hungarian teenager continues his original 2023 schedule with his new team.

Starting from the WSK Super Master Series round in Cremona on 26 April, Tamás Gender Junior will take on a new challenge: he will race for Energy Corse Racing Karts in the OK Junior category.

The Italian team is already known to karting fans in Hungary, as Martin Molnár is also racing for them, this year in the OK category. Tamás Gender Junior will be coached by Antonio Galluccio, who also works with Martin.

“I am taking a big step in my career! My family and I have decided to continue racing in a new environment and have chosen the Energy Corse team. I thank Team Principal Mick Panigada for his trust and I am happy to work with Antonio Galluccio, who has already achieved good results with Molnár Martin,” said the HUMDA Academy-supported driver.

Tamás Őry, CEO of Motorsport Talent Management, added: “After the successful cooperation so far, we are delighted to be working with Energy Corse with another young talent. We are confident that Tamás Gender Junior will achieve great success in Mick Panigada’s team.”

Energy Corse, a company of great respect in the kart world, was founded in 1997, out of its foundation members’ passion and skill. The Italian outfit has previously fielded drivers such as Alexander Albon, who now competes in F1, and two-time DTM and World Rallycross Champion Mattias Ekström.
